Raimundo Muñoz G.
PARTNER
Raimundo Muñoz Raimundo Muñoz advises domestic and foreign clients on corporate and company matters, including mergers and acquisitions, general and international commercial contracting, business reorganization processes, and foreign investment.
Mr. Muñoz graduated from the School of Law at Universidad Diego Portales and was admitted to the Bar in 1993. He completed the Diploma in “Macroeconomics Topics for Analysis and Decision-Making” at the School of Economics of Universidad de Chile (1993), and the Diploma in Tax Management at the School of Law of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2000). He completed and obtained the “Academy of American and International Law Diploma” awarded by The Center for American and International Law (formerly The Southwestern Legal Foundation), S.M. University, Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. (2001), and earned a Master of Business Law (MBL) degree from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2004).
Previously, Mr. Muñoz practiced as an associate attorney at Ortúzar, Feliú & Sagüés (1994–2004) and as a partner at Muñoz & Cía. (2005–2007).
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association, IR Global as well as the International Bar Association (IBA).

Noëlle Jeanneret S.
PARTNER
Noëlle Jeanneret, a founding partner of the firm, develops her professional practice advising domestic and foreign clients, with a particular focus on intellectual property, especially portfolio management, contracting, and litigation. Her experience also encompasses advertising, unfair competition, consumer protection, and related civil litigation, as well as corporate and commercial matters.
She holds a law degree from Universidad Diego Portales (1995) and a Master of Business Law (MBL) from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2004). Throughout her career, she has actively participated in national and international conferences, seminars, and congresses in the field of intellectual property.
She has extensive professional experience, having worked as an associate attorney at Claro y Cía. (1994–2004), as in-house counsel at Latinvalley, Inc. — an investment and venture capital firm — (2005–2006), and as a senior associate attorney at Philippi Yrarrázaval Pulido & Brunner (2010). She previously practiced at MJAC — then known as Barrios Muñoz Jeanneret y Cía. (BMJ) — between 2007 and 2009, rejoining the firm in early 2011.
In academia, she served as a teaching assistant in Commercial Law at Universidad de los Andes (1994) and in Civil Law at Universidad Diego Portales (1995–2000).
She is a member of the Chilean Bar Association, the Chilean Association of Industrial Property (ACHIPI), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). Through the firm, she is also a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
She has held various professional association roles, including Director of ACHIPI for two terms (2020–2023 and 2023–2026), Chair of the ACHIPI Trademarks Committee (2018–2020), full national delegate for ASIPI (2015–2018), and Secretary of the ASIPI Trademarks Committee (2021–2022).

Carmen Paz Álvarez E.
PARTNER
Carmen Paz Álvarez E. joined the firm as a partner in 2015. She has developed her practice in Intellectual Property, including matters related to trademarks, patents, plant varieties, copyright, appellations of origin, geographical indications, domain names, consumer protection, unfair competition, and civil litigation, advising both Chilean and foreign companies. She also has experience in public policy, legislative advisory, and international negotiations.
She graduated from the School of Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, being admitted to the Bar in 1998. She subsequently obtained an LL.M. from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom (2002).
She previously worked as an associate attorney at Sargent & Krahn (1999–2009), as Head of the Legislative Department and later Head of the International Department at the National Institute of Industrial Property – INAPI (2010–2014).
Ms. Álvarez is an Arbitrator of the NIC-Chile Dispute Resolution System and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). In 2001, she published the book “Derecho del Vino, Denominaciones de Origen” (Editorial Jurídica de Chile).
She is a member of the Chilean Association of Industrial Property Law (ACHIPI), the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), and through the firm, is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Carolina Jeanneret
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
She joined the firm in July 2015. In April 2016, she took on the role of Finance and Administration Manager at Muñoz Jeanneret Álvarez y Compañía, overseeing the firm’s administration, finance, and accounting matters.
She began her professional career at Primex International Trading Company (1988). She then worked as a research analyst in risk analysis, project evaluation, and management control at Banco de Boston (1989–1991), Banco Security (1991–1997), and Banco Bci (2006–2008). Subsequently, she held the position of Finance and Administration Manager at Fundación Educacional Del Sur (2011–2012) and at Etalent Consulting SpA (2013). She has also worked as an independent consultant in financial, accounting, operational, real estate, and administrative matters.

Verónica Toro
PARALEGAL
Verónica Toro holds a degree in Public Relations from IPEVE (1989–1993), a Bilingual Executive Secretary certificate from ITESA (1995–1997), and a postgraduate degree in Digital Marketing from Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (UTP) (Lima, 2016).
Verónica has been based in Lima, Peru since 2008, where she has worked as a management assistant at Head Hunters Perú (2008–2010) and as Marketing Manager at Colegio Sarmiento (2010–2017). Between 2017 and 2022, she ran her own business venture, which gave her an in-depth knowledge of one of Peru’s most emblematic products — cotton. Her professional experience throughout her years in Peru has given her a thorough understanding of the culture, pace, norms, and character of the Peruvian people at various levels. Her years in the Marketing department at Colegio Sarmiento allowed her to develop an advertising strategy aimed at increasing student enrollment and creating a new image for the institution.
Between 1993 and 2007, Verónica worked as a bilingual executive assistant at the law firm Claro y Cía. in the intellectual property department — experience that supported her hiring by Muñoz Jeanneret Álvarez y Cía. in April 2022.
Verónica works remotely from Lima, Peru, having fully adapted to this modern way of professional collaboration.

Vicente barrios
CONSULTANT
Vicente Barrios L. works as a legal advisor to companies, with a focus on corporate and tax formation, development, and reorganization, addressing their needs in commercial, civil, and labor matters. He served as in-house counsel for the ABN Tanner and Santander Groups and has subsequently acted as external advisor to those groups, as well as to other companies in the financial sector, such as BBVA and Scotiabank Chile, in corporate, banking, real estate, and capital markets matters, including securities brokerage, insurance, third-party fund management, factoring, leasing, and securitization.
Mr. Barrios graduated from the School of Law at Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, being admitted to the Bar in 1991. He completed and obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Tax Legislation from Universidad de Santiago de Chile in 1999.
Previously, Mr. Barrios practiced at García y Barrios Asociados (1991–1992), as in-house counsel at the ABN Tanner Group (1992–1995) and at the Santander Group (1995–2002), and as a partner at Barrios y Cía. (2002–2007).
